How many of you have been hit by a car??

Since we all are car people (i think?) I'm wondering how many of you guys have actually been hit by a car, bike, truck, RV, as a pedestrian!

Ive been hit twice, both in my neighborhood, both by old farts, both times rollerblading. First time old woman rolled through stopsign going about 15-20, in a tan buick (The plague of the earth is the tan buick) and plopped me up on her hood. I promptly flicked her off, cussed a few times, then went on my way. No harm done ha ha. Second time was a wee bit worse, as i went under the car. An old guy was drivin a S-10, i was in the road, the guy came around a blind corner (runnign the stopsign by the way) and plowed me down going about 20....i had my helmet and knee pads and shit (hey i had just started to grind, give me a break!) so it wasnt that bad. he stopped and appologized and shit....i thought it was kinda funny, even though my legs/back were torn to shit.

I hit my car all the time. Sometimes I kick it. But, unfortunately, it usually doesn't hit back. Mostly just kinda dents in the side of it. :grinno:

I've never been hit, but my grandmother was hit crossing a quiet intersection by this woman in an old volvo. The driver yelled at her a bit, gave her a $20 and took off.

i almost got hit...some jackass was driving down my old street way to fast and i figured i could get accross before he could get to me, but this dude was going like 30 over the limit. so i hear the tires squealing, jump as high as i can and hope he doesn't hit me...he didn't

only once, while biking.

I was walking home from school my freshman year of highschool when this senior drove by and picked me up. Well I got in the backseat of his friends honda, wasnt all the way in but he started to drive off... My foot went under the tire and scraped all my skin off my ankle so all you could see was the bone. It was considered a third degree burn and kinda hurt.

I was tagged by someone pulling out of a KFC drive-thru as I was skateboarding past. Got my hands out in time- he wasn't going very fast- but still took an ass-first dive and scraped up my elbows and back pretty good. A bunch of people came running over...I remember feeling like a complete dipshit...

was hit by my friend while at his house. First he brags how good of a driver he is at such an early age, then his dad asks him to move his Dodge Ram into the garage. I stand in front helping him direct which way with his dad. First, he scraps the whole side of the truck on the door post, then he somehow floors it then knocks me on the floor. He almost ran me completely over. I was under the middle of the truck. when he got out, he claims he mistakened the gas for the brake. so much for braggin how good of a driver HE is....

got hit by some bumbass ricer, rolled over his civic at about 60 km/h (or so i think) good thing i saw him at the last minute and jumped onto the hood. broke 2 ribs but at least i took off his gay ass wing. The fucker drove away. Sold the wing on ebay for $300

I was younger and I don't really remember why I did it (we had a really cheap go-kart, pretty low to the ground) but I was like reaching for something or other and I guess I thought it'd be a good idea to go forward... right over my arm. Stopped it right over it for a second and then rolled off

Just to clarify: I have never been hit by a car.

When I was 11 my brother ran over my foot while I was getting out of the car. I yelled and he stopped moving, and stayed on my foot until I yelling at him to move.

Another time when I was 10 I was hit by a parked car. I was riding my bike down this big hill with a friend. I reached down to get my waterbottle, except it was stuck. I looked down to see if I could pull it out, and at that moment I slammed into the back of an old Crown Victoria. My bike slid under the car and I was thrown onto the trunk. The owner was sitting on his lawn and laughed at me..

lets see....

when i was 8 i was hit by a parked car...was trying to race my dad on my bike....slammed into an Isuzu Rodeo and flew off my bike, rolled 4-5 times, and was scraped up
when i was 14, i was riding my bike when an Acura Legend pulls out and hits me and my foot was pinned under the right front tire for a good 30 seconds.....tore my nikes up pretty bad that day.....

and even though this doesn't really count....

when i was 16, i was riding my bike at night and i ran into a speed limit sign....i was pedaling really fast because i was trying to make curfew, and when i looked up, it was too late.....i hit the sign with so much force that i bent one of my bar ends out of shape and i twisted the sign.....add to the mix numerous cars honking at me when they saw me go airborn and roll onto somebody's lawn....got a nice bruise on my shoulder too

I think I got one that can beat all yours...
when i was 13 y/o i was riding my bike down the street(aginst traffic) when a ford expedition decided to pull out of a buissness driveway(female I might add). She decides to call the cops and tell them what happened even though I insisted I was ok. cops show up and write me a ticket for driving on the wrong side of the road in a motor vehicle(in florida a bike is concidered a motor vehicle). And that in turn put 3 points on my licence(which I need to be 16 to get) and law also says if i have any points on my licence I have to wait another year to get my licence. lady wins court case and I have to pay all tickets and hers are dissmissed. cute huh?

So I'm running away from a bank I'd just robbed with S.W.A.T hot on my ass. I guess I didn't look both ways- saw the 18 wheeler at the last second. I quickly spin and drop down under the front bumper, grabbing it at the last second. I slowly pull myself up to the grill and onto the hood. I then kick out the windshield, get the driver in a scissor hold with my legs and force him out of the door. As he rolls across the pavement, I slide into the cab, take the wheel and make my escape. Sold the rig on Ebay for 50 grand, too...

My sister ran me over with a farm tractor back in 1975 (Ferguson TEA 20). Since then, I have managed to crash just about every type of vehicle there is, but the closest I came to being hit was running over my own foot on a 3 wheeler Honda ATC.

Never hit by a car yet... too fast for that. :D I have flipped a 'cageless' go-cart over 3 times while busting out a power slide. Got road rash on my arms, back.. and strangely enough... my butt.

There's this parked car near my house the other day...the bastard hit me! :grinno:

Anyways, the closest I got to being hit by a parked car was in this parking lot one time when I was younger. The car apparently didn't see me until the last minute and "tapped" me. Yea, not a very exciting story and I didn't get to sell anything of his for $300 on eBay. :(

I have never actually been hit, kind of wierd since Pedestrian crossings mean nothing in Italy.

Last year on vacation in Cozumel Mexico I got my arm hit by a moped. My cousin pointed out a sinking ship. Once I saw it and pointed it out...WHAM. Suprisingly all I had was a bad bruise!

I have investigated many many car accidents.

It's surprising how many are the result of Fowl Play.

One time I was riding my bike behind my dads van in my neighborhood and I turned to look at this hot neighbor getting into her car. But I was so busy staring at her that I didnt notice my dad stoped the van and started talking to another neighbor. So, me still staring at the chick, I ran right into the back of the van. Got a black eye from it. But I did get a hug from the hot girl :naughty:

back when I was in High school I was waiting to cross an intersection and this lady sitting at a stopsign in her accord waves me to go ahead. as im crossing the street, Im looking right at her she is going through her purse, the car starts to move and runs my bike over, I bounced off her hood and my ass landed on the pavement. Later she explained that she took her foot off the brake by accident. :screwy:
