Autocrossing with permit

hey i really wanna get into autocross and think itll be real good for me especially as being a "new" driver and was wonderin can i autocross with just my permit? or do i have to wait to get my liscence to race? thanks alot

I suspect that would depend on your state laws and the rules on your local SCCA.

you might be required to have an instructor ride with you untill you have your full license, but it is definately something to pursue. i've autocrossed since i got my license.
you WILL need both of your parents/legal guardians present to sign insurance waivers for you though. (scca)
best advice is contact your local scca chapter (or whomever is running the events) and ask them

ive been on the local track by myself with jsut a permit....but i havent actually raced just practiced

got a question...i might be having my license taken away from too many tickets...can i still autocross with my license taken away? do i just show them my previous ticket? thanks
