You will have a better kit with Tamiya.

Fujimi, unless the 1/16 Enthusiast kit, are low quality

Yeah, go for the Tamiya in 1/24. I've never actually seen the Fujimi 1/24 F40, but from what I've heard, I'm not really keen to. The Tamiya kit is rather nice- no longer state of the art when compared to the Enzo, but if you want an F40 in 1/24, it's the kit to get.

The Fujimi 1/16 F40, however, is rather decent.

i actually want the Enzo... i just dont think i have enough skill yet and i dont want to mess up such an expensive kit. im gonna wait for it to go on sale.

The Fujimi F40 LM racer is going to be reissued next month. That's a variation Tamiya doesn't have. :)

Fujimi's 1/24 scale F40 is very good, even compared with the Tamiya counterpart. The engine cover is closed, so it's easy to build and recommended for beginners, casual modelers. The visible parts of the engine is throughly recreated, and looks very good after finished. If you can find it for around $15-20, you wouldn't feel like you were ripped off.

Sounds good, and even better since I got a Tamiya F40 for $10.00!

I think the Fujimi 1/24 F40 is based on the F40 prototype and some details are different than they are on the production cars. There is one extra vertical cooling slot (5 instead of 4) behind the rear wheel and the mirrors are different.

it's a fairly good kit I believe, easier to build then the aging tamiya kit.

here s a fujimi ferrari I built a couple of years ago, when I was still learning lots http://img71.photobucket.com/albums/v215/bigfrit/aferrari.jpg

olivier (also waiting for the le mans ferrari ;-) )
