Foam board for the wall's, Then find a pattern of brick's and such, Print it out, Paste it on the wall's.
That's all I did, If I had my camera here now I'd take some pic's for you.

i used a piece of wood for the floor, covered in with a grey rubber tile, like you use on you stairs, the walls are just some plastic, my mom brought home some big sheets of plastic from work. i just stapled the walls the to the wood base. and printed out a design for the walls, pretty simple

Cool, thanks for all the replies, I was going to go with the foam board anyways. How could I maybe get toolboxes (big, stand up ones) to scale? I know I could build them but...
I wanna scratchbuild a car lift too, and maybe a garage door.....
Thanks!

I'd suggest against the foam board. Its weak, flexible, and overall not very good. I would suggest something harder such as masonite, or some 1/4" thick styrene.
I have seen toolboxes both in resin and scratchbuilt.

Estes (the rocket company, can you beleive it?) sold a little diorama kit for a short time. It had 2 walls and a roof of plexiglass, and 2 walls and the floor of some opaque plastic. It had posters and stuff. The beautiful part was all the shop stuff it included - desk, tables, shelves, hanging shelves, hanging lamps, jacks, tool boxes, tools, compressor, oil bottles, cans, welders.... so much stuff! The molding was decent, too, I imagine they bought the tool from someone. And dirt cheap. I think I found mine at Micheal's but I doubt they are even at stores anymore. You can look, and check Ebay. That thing was a total score.
