PT Cruisers.

But no really, with that price, motorcycles are the best. Plus you can indulge yourself. Ask any college girl what kinda guys they dig... what kinda rides they pick... :ylsuper:

I hate to agree with this. No car under $10k is going to impress anyone. Pick up a good street bike, that'll get you some attention.

Nice looking 5.0 for about 6/7 grand. Get some hedders, cam, intake. Make it sound like a beast and you'll draw some well wanted attention.

hehe, i was kidding though... you have to know acknowledge the risks. if you're serious about it, do head over to the motorcycle section for some tips. otherwise, your daily mustangs won't impress too many girls. unless you're wanting to get the shelby GT, which most possibly will be out of your budget.

yeah chicks love bikes, unless its cold, rainy, or snowy (seems to go the same with jeeps) chicks love preludes though, hot or cold, rain or shine. plus they sorta have a backseat ;)

I'm with Josh. A nice Mustang 5.0 is a cool car. A hatchback with tint and nice rims gets attention. It's fast, and looks nice, and the girls like them. But I'm biased

LOL. Thats some funny biased sh!t.

5.0's are indeed 'butt-ugly'. Any car that is rituallisticly confused with an 85 escort is in the Butt section of ugly. That being said, if i found the right one, id buy it in a heartbeat. They have a charm to them. They are 'cool' despite they're looks.
Number one rule; Chicks like cars that they bond to, every girl is defferent. My freind likes old 4 runners and beat up pickups covered in mud over any 'try-to-hard' sportscar. Other than that, they like cars they dont see often, unique cars, and as a general rule, they love convertables. More often than not, my experience tells me they like big cars as well. Oh and you gotta wash that shit. A mustang is just far too comonplace to draw any real attention. Yeah it'll bring a crowd faster than a civic, but its not like its a Viper or Ferrari. And if the guy in the civic is hot, your fuxed, your 5.0 wont sway her. But hot civic boy wont stand a chance against a real chick magnet. Any dork can pull up in a ferrari and leave with an extra 125 pounds.
There is a step in between tho, Classics. Grab like an old Triumph TR-6 roadster, 70's 911 or a 68 Charger and you'll apeal to thier taste. All it takes is some style and individuality.

I don't know how true this is. A friend of mine has a '69 Charger and it is CHERRY! But, the ladies really don't seem to know it's a cool car. To them, it seems it's just another muscle car. Unless you find a lady who knows her cars. As much as I love the Charger, I'd probably rather borrow my brother-in-law's '69 Jag E-Type convertible. I don't think it's as nice, but the ladies might respond better to a classic Jaguar with the top down (?)

You don't need a car, Just learn how to talk to them and you can get any girls phone number you want. (Be nice)

Around here big 4X4s and mustangs take the cake as chic magnets, but I live in the South.

i have no respect for someone who would buy a car purely for the chik pulling factor. this would make up maybe 0.5% of my decision to buy a car, if at all. that doesnt include looks, but looks are my personal taste not someone elses. I think someone needs a visit from queer eye....

I think you guys are seeing it from the wrong perspective. If you really want to impress chicks, you don't need to get a nice car, you need to get multiple cars!!! :grinyes: Just get a decent car and a motorbike, chicks are apparently impressed by that shit! I have a Pink '97 VW GTI, and a Kawasaki Zx-12 (but mainly for track riding), and a few other Motorbikes in my garage. Anyways all of the chicks I know have always had something nice to say about each one of my rides :iceslolan

rides do matter girls just dont want to admit it it seems to me

Karen512
08-02-2004, 12:40 AM
Yes, your "ride" does matter........
however, if you are looking for a girl to have a relationship with, your "ride" shouldn't be that much of a factor.....she should like you for you. :grinyes:

But if you are just looking for some ass, my advice would be to get a decent car, and make it somehow unique, something that will make them remember your car. Be it nice aftermarket rims, or a nice paint job.....something along these lines. Nothing "ricer" or gay, just something tastefull.

Or just get the bike!! Us girls love a man on a sport bike  :smooch:

Well even though I'm not much for it because too many people have them around here if you're looking for a girl magnet the Mitsubishi Eclipse (If you can find one in your price range, I'm not sure what they're selling for used) seems to work. Add a ricer exhaust and a unique graphic. I've seen that work. Seen the same thing with a 2000 Civic Hatchback and that guy was Fugly. His car just stood out.

Why the hell would you need a car to get girls? Honestly. Sure you can pickup some $2 hoe that will try and use you for crack smoking needs. But getting girls is ALL about personality. (And whoever said to "be nice" your an idoit, dont ever give dating advice again). But if i was a needy, attention, hungary-wussbag and had to have girls look at my car i would have a 2002 SS Camaro, t-tops, leather, and a 6-speed. Red with black racing strips, a SLP Loudmouth exhaust, and 18'' Chrome ZR1 Wheels.

Very true... but a COOL car doesnt create attraction with a women. Have a Ferrari? That does, wanna know why? The women senses you have a bunch of money, and a tiny bit of attraction sparks. Yeah i beat a WRX, these cars a VERY slow top-end. No power up there b/c of the awd and gearing.

this is a dead old topic.

anyway, cars don't exactly have the same affect on women as sportbikes.

kenwood guy
08-13-2004, 12:14 AM
anything that is cool to MOST people ie. bikes and fast cars will have some effect on how a women thinks of you there is no question about it in my book

Z_Fanatic
08-13-2004, 12:27 AM
here's my deduction, unless you have a sports car (and I don't mean camaros or mustangs), a sophisticated girl wouldn't care what you drive, as long as it's not a yugo. those f-bodies are ever so common. and girls with little knowledge about cars might be impressed with them. real attraction lies with sports car and definitely exotics.

where as motorcycles, the territorial advantage is already set since the dawn of "rebel without a cause." and especially with sportbike these days, the fact stands out more than ever, riders live life on the danger lane, and there's a risk of injury/death everytime one gets on the bike. and I think that bigger balls and speed attract women. plus there's a adrenaline rush even as a passenger, and there are only a few female riders, etc. girls fear it, and they love it.

kenwood guy
08-14-2004, 01:03 AM
"sophisticated girls" thoses are the ones I hate they think they know every thing when in fact they are just like everyone else..... A bike is cool but I think a decent sports car ie mustang, camero 240sx and so on are good also

Z_Fanatic
08-14-2004, 02:33 AM
f-bodies and sport compacts are sports cars??

well it's either sluts or sophisticated girls, and after a certain stage, mature people tend to prefer the latter.

kenwood guy
08-14-2004, 09:42 PM
well...I just dont make "Blanket" statements people like what they like and I feel that a cool car is a cool car I think A fixed up import, bike or f body are all in the same game and the name of the game is to impresses thoses who care about being different from the rest of field Ill take a hooked up ride over some normal one anyone one why???.... well any guy can answer that one

5 Point 7

Why do you keep talking shit about f-bodies. 02' WS6 and 02' SS are the EASIEST! within price to get girls. BELIEVE ME. And I'm sure you prolly get girls in your Z, if you have one (didnt care to look in your profile.) And somehow you turned focus from them being attention-getters (which they very much so are) into them NOT being sports cars??? NO there no Lotus/Lambo/any other exotic. But for real people cars. Nothing can beat it...NOTHING. And don't say a Supra because 30-40 g's for a car 7+ years old...NOT REASONABLE. (Not discrediting Supras, just obviating remarkable resale value compared to a reasonable chick-getter car.) :banghead:

Z_Fanatic
08-15-2004, 01:23 AM
I never said I had anything against f-bodies. but I did mention they're not sports car because:

You don't see them in the track/twisities competiting. straightline? yes. gt competition? not too many without huge suspension mods.

Why are supra so expensive? because they're sports cars and very demanding.

I'll exclude 5.7 V8 Trans AM, because they were whoppingly expensive when new and has real power to deliver, especially with RAM Air. And you don't see too many of these around.

And they're very common, when something becomes abundant, it loses the charm of exclusivity. Every other 16 year old owns one. And yup, I'll agree, their girlfriends get impressed because they have a ride now.

5 Point 7

False, they DO compete in competitions. the SS and WS6 also are suspension upgrades stock. Anything under 3500 lbs can handle reasonable well with upgrades. I'd consider a vr-4 a sports car, and they are about 3800!

Why are supra so expensive? because they're sports cars and very demanding.

Because they were in a movie! Very demanding never the less. F-Bodies not sports cars because it has muscle :screwy: You must think a Viper is not a sports car but a muscle car like others I've heard.

I'll exclude 5.7 V8 Trans AM, because they were whoppingly expensive when new and has real power to deliver
Name one 4th gen 93-02 Z-28, Formula, Trans Am, or SS that DOESN'T have a 5.7 L V8? And DOESN'T have "real" power to deliver? How can you exclude one and not all, when they are all the same thing?

especially with RAM Air.
:uhoh: You could put your own aftermarket one on....not much a difference anyway unless you have some extensive mods that need the extra air.

Every other 16 year old owns one.

OH and BTW. Us all F-Body owners are just practicing for a Corvette we wanna get! :ylsuper:

Yes, pity it was in FF and 2 fast 2 queer. But still it has high resale value, can't argue with the facts. Viper IS a sports car. And I think you might be delusional if you consider Viper and f-bodies muscle cars.

lol, I bet you had it when you were 16. Regardless, I think I went to highschool for 4 long years to know if I can distinguish a F-body from a 'vette.

OH and BTW. Us all F-Body owners are just practicing for a Corvette we wanna get! :ylsuper:

should I be jealous?

Again I have nothing against f-bodies, they have their own merits. but the fact is they're very common and not considered true sports car like a viper or corvette.

Here we go again, this was covered about a year ago in the Camaro forum, and I don't want to get into it again.

OK...ONE MORE TIME...name ONE SS, Z-28, Formula, or Trans Am that DID NOT have a 5.7L V8 in the 4th gen...see if you can get it right the next time.
lol, I bet you had it when you were 16.
HELL NO. I went through 3 FF before I was 17. And 2 FR to now. (just cars) I wasn't the 16 year old that my parents bought the car of my dreams.
Regardless, I think I went to highschool for 4 long years to know if I can distinguish a F-body from a 'vette.
I pray you can. BTW, NOTHING was mentioned about YOU NOT being able to distinguish them...
but the fact is they're very common and not considered true sports car like a viper or corvette.
Nothing with A/C (etc., etc.) is a TRUE sports car, so your wrong, NEITHER are they.
