98 G Voyager - Flashing lights on the A/C buttons

HI, I have a 98 G Voyager, and the air conditioning control buttons all flash continually. This behavior just started, and there has been no work done on the van recently. Also, the A/C blower doesn't always work, but if you reach under the passenger side and give the motor a nice tap, it will come on. Sometimes the speedomoter and tach do not work either, but if you turn off the engine and restart, it usually starts working again. Any suggestions on why the A/C buttons flash ???

You may have an intermitent connection that caused the A/C controller to lose it's programming. Follow the instructions at http://www.allpar.com/fix/codes-climate.html
paying particular attention the the notes in "Alternative #2". Note that the engine must be running while you do this procedure.

Hi guys, I have the same problem and followed the instructions to reset and now I have the re-circ button light and AC button light flashing. It says failed cooldown corrective action - run cooldown test. OK. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks for all your help.
