Aftermarket alarm on 5th Gen Maxima

I was wondering if anyone out there has a 5th gen Maxima with an aftermarket alarm. I have a 2003 and want to add one, but I want to make sure its possible first. I have heard stories of nissans not accepting aftermarket keyless entry systems because of the pulses used to unlock the doors. And also, how would remote starter work with transponder keys. Thanks for any help.

It's no problem. I've done plenty. Just make sure to do your homework and find a good shop to do the job. You should be able to find those that don't know what they are talking about when the stutter or look confused when you ask questions. Oh, tip the installer as he is working on your ride, they always try extra hard to do the install right!
