Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew or had an estimate of the Murcielago R-GT's preformance and horsepower stats. The car is beautiful, and it weighs a little more than half of the production murcielago. :sunglasse I'm thinking with the same engine they can atleast get 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, and top out at around 240 :evillol: . Lamborghini should be able to tune a 585 hp engine easily into 600 hp or more. B/c the Diablo GTR had 595 hp, and the GT1 had 655.

Reiter engineering is the name of the company that builds/upgrades the Murcielago into the R-GT. Google search and enter their website. In "Press" are articles regarding it. Most are not in english, but the numbers aren't hard to read. It is very, very fast. I think 0-62 in under 2.7 or 2.8. It makes the same horsepower as the stock but has more usable power (larger power band).

oo, i found it. Wow 0-60 in 2.8! Thats insane, and it still reaches over 200. I never knew the Murcielago had so much potential

Acceleration is certainly quick, but it has trouble on the straights, it doesn't get enough speed. This is certainly a problem --- aerodynamics. I also think it's a little slower in the corners. They really need to get their act together. In other words, more factory support and aero tests are needed.
