hummer's aren't all that cool either (unless you are talking about the military ones). but i do agree that elements are worthless.

that element for those of you who don't know is a little rocket with the five-speed

elements can be made to look good, by repainting the flat black plastic parts all over, to match the color.
elements imo have to be all black, glossy black, i havent seen em with rims or chrome but i suppose it could be made to look good

Nice cars, but those wheels would suck the life out of the 160 hp vtec

i dont think that it is really "built for speed" but more around town driving, where looking good and having a really loud and nice stereo are the main aspects, you have to keep in mind that this was never made to be fast but simply just to get to where you want to go convenently, with a few friends, and a few bitches.

No Element is cool, no matter what kind of stupid shit you bolt on it.
The Aztek used to be the ugliest car on the road, which was appropriate because all Pontiacs are steaming piles of shit anyway (69 GTO Judge excepted). But the Element takes the cake.
My policy is to flip the bird at any Element driver I see. Bunch of fucking soccer moms and tree huggers.
And for those of you who think a paint job and some aftermarket add-ons can make it decent, I've got news for you: tuning is about taking a nice car and making it nicer, not taking a piece of crap and dropping thousands to make it less embarassing. That's nothing more than a joke, like those Escort station wagons you see with spinny rims and big tailpipes.
Fuck Elements.

eh i disagree, tuning in my opinion is taking what you have and use and making it some thing that fits what you need better, fits YOUR lifestyle not the lifestyle of the desiner and such, but i guess a civic is a really nice car huh.espeacaly the 97's, yeah they are really top of the line.

Completely agree, the element is just hideous. just a cheap looking, awkward lined, and bulbous... But hey, who knows mabe the car is designed ahead of its time, just like Idrive! hahahahaha, ok sorry that was a cheap shot, and I am sure many ppl enjoy Idrive

The Honda Element is the most horrible thing that EVER happened to autos. It's just absolutely terrifying that it ever was made. Death to the Element.

Hehehe... LOL, Kafziel!

One more thing... Even though your intelligence (without a doubt) cannot be questioned, I must ask one question. What vehicles DO meet your approval? I suspect that you only approve vehicles that you can afford to buy, but that's just a guess. And as for flipping the bird to a bunch of "fucking soccer moms and tree huggers" goes? All I can say is go ahead... prove your manhood. For you see, the Element has WONDERFUL visibility from the driver's point of view, so I'm CERTAIN that all Element owners will see your lovely birdy! In fact, we'll be watchin' for ya! (Disclaimer: not all Honda Element owners are "soccer moms" or "tree huggers" either one... Enough said) So what kind of vehicle do you drive? Care to share your licence plate number and real name?

LMAO!

Relax, dude! Not tryin' to start anything in here. For you see, I am VERY tolerant of people, especially if their ideas are less than "Mainstream". That's one of the reason's I chose to buy the Honda Element. But no worries, I will sleep well knowing that I bought the Element. I know for a fact that I couldn't say the same thing if I had bought a (new) Ford or Chevy (or Hyundai, if that's what you drive).

BTW, your insults don't have any effect. When i was still shopping for a vehicle I had seen similar ones before, and they have the OPPOSITE effect from what you intend.

PEACE!

(P.S. You'll be excited to learn that Wal-Mart is having a 1/2 price sale on Billy Rae Cyrus CD's!)

I would be happy to agree with you, it's just a defense response on our (element owners) part. I'm content to know that there are people out there that that think the Element is ugly, big deal, but to call it a peice of S*@T or the most horribly thing that happened to the automotive industry, those folks are just being ignorant buttheads.

Sure the post is old. Could be that the "complianers" have finally come to terms that the Element is setting trends and here to stay. So sure, let's "let it die."
