i have the same question as nat i dont know anything about these cars they are new to me i dont think money is an option for me really but i dont know if the money i put in it would be worth it for this car to be fast also i have no clue in what motor to use if i were to do a motor swap.i dont know though maybe someone has done this already and can prove me wrong and tell me it was cheap and worth it.but if i were to make it flashy what size rims with low pros. 16's or 17's?

Hey guys.... the 310 is under rated in my opinion. It's light and has heaps of room in the engine bay for bigger engines. Not sure what size engines you guys got in the 310 standard, but an A15 would certainly go well with the right work. If you wanted to go bigger, then youshould look towards an SR20 or CA18....even turbo charged options if you can get them.
In the wheel area, I have fitted 15x7" Panasports to mine with 60 series profile tyres (due to control tyre for our class of racing). To do this, we had to do a fair amount of chopping and flaring of guards. We also used a widder diff (H190), so you may get away with 16's inside the standard guards depending on offset and width.
Here is a pic of mine, which runs an FJ20 Turbo.......have fun.
