Tornado Fuelsaver

Has anyone everused this Tornado on a Maxima. It's supposed to increase airflow and give you higher gas milage. Sounds to good to be true. Any input would be helpful.

It sounds like it works...but I don't know how much it will work. I mean the whole concept makes sence, but if it does help much I bet it's very minimal.

i used it on my 4th gen. i honestly liked it. 99% of people will say it doesn't work but i liked it. i used to throw CEL's all the time with my intake and as soon as i put the fuel saver in it went away and never returned again. that alone was reason enough for me to get it. and my fuel consumption was pretty damn good too but i can't honestly say if it was due to the fuel saver or not.

Used it on an '86. Made the car sound better. Didn't notice the fuel difference until actually drove it 'till the light came on. Instead of coming on and staying on steady, it would light for a sec, then go off for a few miles, and do this several times. I liked it.

I heard a good thing about it...my friend has some Chevy Blazer or something, and he said it had a noticable increase in power, especailly when trying to get on interstate.....he siad it surprised him when he pressed the gas, cause he usually has to floor it to get up to speed on the busy interstate...

After he told me that, I out it on my TO DO list to get one for my 96 Maxima....but it would be nice if others out there has an opinion on it.................................

I guess this fuelsaver thing is a bunch of BS. I've asked and asked but nobody can actually confirm that they've had better gas milage with this thing. Maybe I'm wrong but if anyone has some hard numbers that would help.

What? Butt dyno?????

it's an expression used to talk about feeling power gains without having any actual proof.

actually i dont think the tornado will do much at all for the fuel saving thing...one of the guys i work with explained why very well...

he said that it might work if it didn't have all the injectors and screens to go through n everything after the intake...if it was just a straight line into the cylinders it would probably work...but other than that, there is just too much turbulence created

Years ago we were told that if you put a couple magnets on the fuel supply line, they would somehow make the fuel more effcient to burn.

Some people swore by them, other at them. But hey its cheap to try. Go to your local Farm and Fleet store (sorry you metro guys) and buy some cow magnets. Now you ask What is a cow magnet. Well for you city folks, magnets are put in the cows stomach to capture the nails and other metal things cows eat (Cows are not very smart when it comes to eating). Wrap them around the fuel line and the fuel will magically be better ( might change it from regular to ethyl, you got to be over 40 to know what ethyl is).

I guess it better not be a metal fuel line, doesn't seem like the magnets would work on that but I don't know, let it rip and give it a try.

There has been many other tricks, sparkplugs with 8 spark gaps, water mist injectors to the carb (what is carb? well you don't eat it) and wheel weights what adjust when your driving and various spark coil boosters.

Do they work, never, but you can get them for $19.95 on late night TV...:) and if you order now, we will throw in a (fill in the blank)

Is it worth the $60 I paid? Maybe in another 5 years. Is it worth $20? Yeah.
