:bricks1:Now I've spent several hours looking through most if not all
the questions posted regarding glow gauges but my question
was not answered. So, as not to offend you gurus, I will attempt
to ask my question in a way to receive a straight answer.
:dunno:Where is the friggin' headlight power supply the stupid
color switch for the gauges supposed to be hooked up to?
I found several sets of black & red wires. I dont have a tester
and I'm not going to buy one of those manuals. The instructions
I received are so vague that to suggest reading them would be offensive.:banghead:
I did a search online and found one step-by-step on mytoys.com
that was incomplete without pictures.:comprage1
This is my last resort. I was hesitant to post anything because of
the replies or lack there of to the "glow gauge" issue.
Please reply only if you have an answer to my question. I really don't want
any rants or raves. I read enough of for a life time. Thank you in advance for your help.:feedback:

Lets start by getting the year/make/model of your car. Then I will tell you exactly what wires you need. When you are taping into your cars wiring you should always have a test light. They are cheap friend. You can even make one out of an led or some type of small light if you dont want to buy one. Let me know what you are rollin and I will help

sofast, thanks .....
i've got a 98 honda civic dx sedan auto/1.6L D16Y7...with an EX cluster w/ tach with the glow gauges installed already. I couldn't find the right red & white wires....
I had found a web site with a blow-by-blow installation guide for them but the images had broken links/missing. Oh well... Thanks for your help.

As for pictures I wont be able to help you out. It is definitly the PARKING LIGHTS ( + ) RED/BLACK 7 PIN GRAY CONN AT FUSE BLOCK . You should be able to catch it at the harness coming from the steering column. But It would be easier to catch it at the fuse block. Behind the fuse block will be a 7 pin gray plug find the red/black wire out of the 7 going to the gray plug and you got er dun. Hope that I was some help friend

Or you could wrap the positive wire around a prong on the dash light fuse so you won't have to cut anything, and ground the black wire underneath a bolt somewhere. Ghetto - yeah.. Will anybody ever see it - nope.. Just my :2cents:
