Formula Drift TV Commences as the Definitive Drifting Television Program Series


Television series will be produced by LivePlanet and Want Media exclusively for Slipstream Global 2004 Formula Drift Series


LivePlanet, Want Media and Slipstream Global, today announced plans to develop ‘Formula Drift TV,’ for North American Television distribution in 2004. The series will be produced by LivePlanet, the company behind the HBO hit series ‘Project Greenlight’ and founded by Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Sean Bailey, and Chris Moore, and Want Media, a leading youth marketing and media production company on behalf of Slipstream Global. ‘Formula Drift TV,’ will be developed around Slipstream Global’s exclusive 2004 Live Event drifting series.

The ‘Formula Drift TV,’ development deal is certain to enhance the sport’s existing reputation as one of the most exciting and commercially viable forms of automotive entertainment in the world today. ‘Formula Drift TV,’ will give viewers a bold new drifting lifestyle program that covers the sport’s origins, team drivers, automobiles and the exciting style and technical aspects of drifting.
