my amp is humming quite loud...Its a pioneer and Ihave it bridged to 3 subs. I imagine that I am just pushing it to hard because It gets to hot to keep your hand on for more than a couple seconds. I don't know what the amp is rated for because the model # tag is worn off. But my subvs are 150 rms 400 max.

how exactly do you have everything wired?

Yeah, I doubt it can properly handle 3 subwoofers.

I have the positive and negative lines coming out then I have a positive and negative line coming from each speaker. This makes it so I have 4 positive wires wirenuted and 4 negatives. what kind of load would this be running? any other wiring suggestions? I don't know anything about the amp other than its a pioneer 2 channel. because the label is mostly scratched off and only the pioneer Pis still on it.

hahahahahahaha

Damn dude, you're running 3 speakers, most likely single 4ohm speakers, in parallel on a generic 2ch amp. I'd be willing to bet you're running a 4ohm stable (bridged) amp at 1.33 ohm, which will royally screw it up. I wouldn't be surprised if it's long gone by now, even wiring it normally you'll probably still get the hum

a cheap amp can make a good heater ... for a while, when you hook them up that way
