f1 brake rotors

what are f1 brake rotors made of? carbon fibre or solid carbon? ive seen how thick the discs are and i was just wonderin y theyre not slotted or drilled...

carbon fiber, and they aren't slotted or drilled because those weaken the disc. weak disc = breaks = dead.

They aren't slotted or drilled but they are ventilated.

They are made in a very complex process which takes weeks to make one disc, they do however have occasional failures though.

:( and sadly, our cars would never get the brakes hot enough to make those rotors or pads start to work...
