I ruined a LOT of tires when I was a kid doing that. Of course, back then it was still called "skidding".

Yeah, mom used to get pissed at me for ruining tires like crazy doing that stuff.
Tightening the rear brake so it locked up easy, and go find some slick pavement. Woot! Hours of fun... till you slipped and ate it into a curb or something.
