antitheft module

HI i own a 94 olds regency98.Have had plenty of problems,The car is in great shape.Expect it died on me one day and would not start.replaced computer320.00$.Two months later while driving the car does the same thing just died.My mechanic says i need a antithefrt module.200.00$ and a week later it does the same thing.my mechnic brings another module car wont start,He puts the other module back in and car starts.What could be going on im affraid to go to far,whos to say it wont happen again.Thanks for any help in advance.About to run out of funds :screwy:

I have a cutlass and It was dieing out but it ran good and you would never know when its going to die out again, I replaced the CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR for $31.00 and it's running just fine no more problems.
