I recently bought 2 rockford fosgate 10" FFS1024 subs w/ 400 watt RMS and 800 watt peak power for each sub...i don't know what wattage i should get on my amp. will 1000 watt amp be sufficient????

what is the impedence on those subs (I'm too lazy to check, should be something like svc 2ohm, dvc 2ohm, dvc 4ohm, etc)

In that case you want something that puts out around 800x1 @ 1ohm, or 400x2 @ 2ohm. Either should be pretty easy to find, personally I would look for the 800x1 since monoblocks are generally a good bit more efficient than class a/b (most multichannel amps are class a/b, most monoblocks are class d).
