What a drag. I hope he gets a rental car from them all the way until he takes possession of a new one paid for by Fast Lube.

These guys have deep pockets. Unually they settle without need to go to court. I just hope they do right by the guy.

Everyone should have at least a small, disposable fire extinguisher in their trunk. Back in highschool, a friend of mine got me one for a birthday present. Later that fall, I had an engine fire in my 84 Corolla (Due to being one of the less mature 16 year-olds. Long story.), and this little extinguisher saved my cars life. The fire kept re-igniting at first, but the extinguisher lasted long enough in the end. Stack 3 soda cans on top of each other, and that was the size of this thing.

It may not have lasted long enough for that big oil fire, but it may have significantly reduced the damage done before the fire trucks arrived.

That is one of the best investments for a car...It can come in handy someday. I woulda been pissed if my camry went up in smoke!

lol...I really do hope that he don't get screwed over any worse than he already was...I hate to see how "bigger" people always seem to step on the "smaller" people. In my honest opinion, the whole world's f*cked in the head.

Yea it sucks being small...What happened to him was fucked up, and he'll probably see hardly anything...They should buy him a brand new one, but lets get real that's not gonna happen!

I agree, but we all know that he won't see something as nice as a brand-spankin' new one, but hopefully he gets something out of it.
