Will a GTI-R from a pulzar bolt up in a NX 2000. ANd when they say FWD/AWD does that mean i could get either one. ANd if i get a AWD do i have to get a FWD trany?

Don't even worry about the tranny. If it's a FWD or AWD engine, it'll bolt right up to your NX2000 tranny. Don't bother with the GTi-R engine though, the potential IS higher but your NX2000 chassis, tranny and tires will barely be able to hold the power potential of the bluebird.

A friend of mine recently purchased a JDM SR20DE off eBay and turbocharged it himself... He claims it cost him less than $1k, but he also has a welder, so he did his own exhaust work... Just seems like an easier route than trying to plug in a Gti-R motor...

gti-r parts are hard to source, bb parts are damn near the same as the sr20de

What are you talking about? GTi-R is still an SR20DET. Any DET, like the GTi-R will be just as easy to find parts for as any other DET, like the BB.

you're asking for trouble, maybe you have better parts guys than i do.
and i have a father thank you.

what? you can't find itr gaskets? they're cheap at the nissan dealer! its shipping that sucks, because they come from the UK. or find someone who lives in UK/AUS that's on this forum and ask them to get it and send it to you. but the dealer should be able to get them. mine is....

Hell, why not just fit a SR20DET exhaust manifold / turbo to the standard engine, decent front mount intercooler, SR20DET computer / wiring harness and no more than 10psi boost?

They should be the same as U12 & U13 bluebird CV boots. They are bigger than front drive pulsars.
To the person who thinks that GTiR SR20DET parts are mostly the same as any other SR motor, how about any of the following:
injectors
fuel rail
inlet manifold / quad throttles / plenum
exhaust manifold
oil pump
oil cooler
water pump
cam shafts
cam shaft shims
cam shaft followers
rocker cover
crank
rods
pistons
head
block
There is no probelm fitting this motor to an NX. The tranny & standard driveline still hold up at 400hp at the wheels, given the life of the tranny is reduced to somewhere around 1 year, but then the bluebird tranny or anything else that fits isn't really much of an improvement.
