My 93 Camry's ABS light came on today I replaced the rear pads and rotors 3 weeks ago and the fronts are very good. I noticed the brake fluid reservoir was very high so I removed some to just below the max level but didnt help. Does anyone know if this car has 4 wheel ABS or just 2 wheel? aslo what things could i check for example wheel sensor or any common ABS problems.
Thanks for any help

It has 4-wheel ABS

If the ABS light stays on, your ABS actuator/computer will have a code stored in it for troubleshooting. You need an ABS diagnostics tester to properly diagnose the system.

A couple things you can do are to check to make sure all the electrical connecters are securely fastened and check all the fuses. Since you just worked on the brakes, there is a good chance you loosened or dislodged a connector. Check all of these carefully.

If neither of these is your problem, I would bring it to a qualified repair shop.

I am also having an ABS light problem on my 93 Camry LE 6 cyl.wagon, but my problem is intermittant. However, when the ABS light does come on, my car won't shift out of park. Also occaisionally (actually, usually), engaging my cruise control will make the ABS light come on also disengaging the cruise control. The cruise will not function when the ABS light illuminates. Any suggesrtions would be appreciated. I will note that when the light is on it seems to help if I tap on the in dash fuse box on the drivers side, but I have been unable to locate any fuse in that box which corresponds with either the ABS or cruise, and all the fuses are OK.
