Hey, I was just wondering if anyknow knows whats the differnce between the new tdi-pd engines in america and the ones in europe. In europe they are rated 130hp, and 150hp. yet in america I think they are only at 100hp. Anyone know the reason for this, or if vw is planing on bringing us the more powerful engines?

Europen diesel is much higher quality than here in the US. VW can tune the engine to produce more hp there.

I have one gti tdi 150hp(mkIV).This engine powers bora(jetta there in usa),seat leon and toledo, and it's very popular because it's features.I will try to put one pic about my car here
