i want to lower my 96 civic...
at what point do i need to aquire camber kits?
how low?

there are a lot of posts on this but most people generally say 2" or lower you will need a camber kit. The best thing to do though is put it on an alignment machine after the drop and find out how off your camber is. Peace

Yup consensus says about 2" I've been dropped 2.5" with 0 toe front and rear. I believe toe wears out tires quicker than camber.

But I also autocross alot :)

I agree with CivicSiRacer

Easy to describe toe. Stand up & look down at your feet. Point your toes in = Toe in / Turn your toes out = toe out . Slight changes in alignment can have dramatic positive or negative affects on handling. "Alignment" is very difficult & lenghtly to explain fully, before you can understand that you must first understand slip angles, bump steer, & all that good stuff.

Get Ingalls or Skunk2.

Those are the only 2 that replace the entire upper control arm. Progress and others make you press out the ball joint and is a HUGE pain in the ass...
