1993 S10 blazer starting, (and running probs)

Hello all,
Thinking you all might have some good ideas for me. I have a 1993 chevrolet S10 blazer, and for the past couple of months, once it warms up going down the highway it will start getting sluggish until it just dies. I have always been able to start it right up once it dies until last week. The engine died on the highway, and I had to have one of my buddies pull me home. Now it just cranks and cranks with no interest in starting. I sprayed a little carb cleaner in the intake just for a quick check to make sure I was getting spark. It fired up just long enough to burn the carb cleaner off, then died again. I drained the fuel filter, (which I had just changed recently), and when I turn the key to the on position I can hear the pump activating for about 4 seconds, (filling the lines up). So, I know the pump is atleast pumping now, and I'm getting spark, but havn't checked fuel pressure yet. This is obviously my next step, but wondered if anyone might have any quick ideas in case the fuel pressure is ok.
Best Regards,
Thomas

Gotta check that fuel pressure, if your pump is good and your lines are being primed properly, the fuel pressure regulator takes over from there. You gotta get a reading on the pressure to know what its doing. Gap on plugs can be part of a sluggish problem. A wide variety of problems could be involved here.
