Just changed the air filter on my perfect running 93 Camry v6 w/104,000 mile. As soon as I start the engine, the "check engine " light comes on. I double checked that something became disconnected. It was some work to wresle the air box open. Any help? Thanks.

There is a possibility that you may have created a vacuum leak of some sort by accidentally disconnecting a hose from the breather assembly. Also, you could have possibly damaged a sensor that is located somewhere in the area around or near the breather assembly. You'll probably need a code scanner if you can't find any problems with hoses and connections. Best of luck to you, get back with me if you need any more help.

You are correct. I had found a disconnected vacume line. Thank you very much.

I'd figured it was a vacuum line somewhere. I'm glad you got it fixed.
