Vortech to sponsor AF 350Z

This just in:

Vortech Engineering (<a href="http://www.automotiveforums.com/sponsors.cgi?http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com"; target="blank">http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com</a>;) supercharger will be used on our AF 350Z.

We would love for our members to have input on the following matter:

Should the AF 350Z utilize the satin or polished finish of the supercharger?

Picture of the engine bay when the car was still stock:

Pictures of the car's exterior can be seen here:

Thanks for your input!

depends on if you are going to "bling bling" under the hood or just business.

One more for satin, the polished one would stick out like a sore thumb.

Satin... Everybody and their brother uses polished this... or chrome that.

A clean aluminum natural finish just looks sweet.

And tell Vortech that it's only fair to send me a Supercharger too. My Mommy told me to share, and Vortech should listen to their Mommy's.

personally i would have rather seen a twin-turbo setup go onto the car, but i also understand the sponsership aspect of this build. so my vote goes to a satin finish SC.

Wow - I am very surprised at the way the votes have turned out so far. My original reasoning was since no extra money is necessary to get the S/C in polished trim and according to many actual owners it does look much better, that I should go with polished.

I'm all for the polished, this isn't a racer, its a show car and it should fit the bill. Flashy, shiny, and attractive are what I think you should be thinking about.

This will be a competitive track car, but I don't see a little shine in the engine bay hurting the image, considering it will not be a dent in the budget as this is a sponsorship.

that polished kit looks awesome...

i like that one best

Powdercoat to match the car. My supercharger was polished, then I got it powedercoated in body color and it looks a lot better.

polished or powdercoat
pratical reoson being that since its a smooth finish you can keep it clean just by wiping it off

and polished looks way better anyway
