Time for me to move on, so I'm selling the car:
1988 GT Convertible
5.0L , 5 speed
195,000 miles
CA car, so has Mass Air
Leaks and burns a bit of oil, but still runs strong.
White with Grey Cloth Seats
Top is only 4 years old, new tires, Pony rims
Body is straight. No accidents, squeaks, rattles or rust.
Many upgrades and bolt ons:
Full Exhaust: JBA headers, Hi Flow Cat H-pipe, MAC exhaust, dumps behind axle.
Centerforce Clutch, Adjustable Clutch Quadrant, T5Z transmission, Steeda Tri-ax Shifter, FMS Aluminum Driveshaft, 3.73 gears
Moroso Cold air intake, ported stock intake manifold, underdrive pullies. 135Amp alternator, 155 lph fuel pump, recent water pump, welded in subframe connectors.

not getting $3k for a 15 year old car with almost 200,000 miles on it. Il give you fifty bucks.

Thanks for your opinion, and offer, but I already have a $2k Lowball on the table. Maybe I'll have to wait until my local edition of the Trader comes out with my car in it.
Looking at autotrader for the whole country, I find almost 500 Mustangs of that year listed (+/-1). Ignoring the show cars over $8K, but including the 4 cylinder version, the average price is still around $5200.
P.S. Cars don't rust here in sunny San Diego.

Would have come to look at it if I had seen this post yesterday, but I found a lot better deal same price autotrader.com
