Pretty straight forward question, which car would win in a race/which is faster

Top speed Vette but 1/4 mile and 0 -60 goes to the Camaro

How come vettes always have higher top speeds than camaros even w/ same engines?

Less weight and more aerodynamic.

Really, camaro tops out at 150 or so, vettes at like 170, the weight and aerodynamics make that much deifference

They can depending on what car's your comparing but your figures are a little off the LT1 Camaro top is 155 MPH and the Vette 165 , LS1 Camaro 162 MPH and Vette 172 + MPH. Some of the Camaro models came with a governor that cut out ignition if the car went over the speed rating so alot of times you'll see a Magazine say top speed 150 MPH but the car can actually go faster

Ok, so the difference is only about an extra 10mph

I know the LT1 & LS1 camaro's came with 2.73's base auto ,optional 3.23's and 3.42's on stick but I'm not positive on the Vette. I just know the earlier TPI's which I think share the same rear came with 3.08's in the Stick but you will have to ask a vette guy or do some research to know for sure

Hey guys, where do I look for the code? And what codes stand for what?

Your build codes should be either on the inside door of your glove box or on the door jam (driver or Passenger) Once you get the codes you can decode them on this site : http://www.fbodymotorsports.com/9302rpocodes
