screw that rev limiter

i own a 92 nx with the sr20de and its a quick lil car (all you all know) but i just want a lil more room to play. when i first got the car i was happy but now its old again id like to take it to like 8-8/12 grand. can anyone tell me if it can be unhooked how do you do it

Where Did You Pick Up The Used One And For How Much

you can go to 8500 rpm if you like valve float.
new springs, retainers,cams, and a jwt cam program and that'll get you your 8500 rpms.
but why? a stock sr20 makes little power that high up
