Im really wondering, just like many others I guess, what happen when the cops caugh you drifting? Did it ever happened to one of you?! Is it considered as wreckless driving?

it is most definitely considered reckless driving. i have to go to court so they can decide how much the ticket will be and if they want to take away my license or not.

YOU GUYS GET CAUGHT? What lame-o's! Didn't you guys learn anything from InitialD? LoL! I found that best way not to get caught is going to the rural mountains... I never was caught in my 2 years of drifting!

poor you spirit_r...
I would really like to know what will happen with this, since I live in canada too. Could you give me more detail about the situation when you got caugh?

Why of all things would you go to a spot to practice when cops know about it? You gotta change it up man. Go search out some new territory. Additional; if there are no tracks around where you live what do you? Sit back and wait for one to be built? Just go out and scope the place out first (debris, obstacles, traffic, ect.) then if the sky is clear, have at it, then bounce to Denny's to chill for a bit.

Hey... driving/drifting in the mountains hones your skills! It weeds out the real-drivers from the non-hackers... If you fly off the mountain then maybe you shouldn't be driving there, huh?

I hope you are intelligent enough to drift where you wont fall off a cliff...

Dude get over yourself. I’ve read your posts and they are so full of fast and the furious style lines they should hire you to write the script for F&F3
You should try to introduce the phrase above in one of Vin Diesel’s lines.
So could you explain to me why track courses have all those safety measures in place? Or it must be that Schumacher is one of those drivers that should not be "driving there" as you so eloquently put it. Or maybe Soelberg should not be allowed to drive either since he too has made some mistakes as any other professional driver.
Too bad none of those pro drivers can ever reach your level were you never make any mistakes.
See the funny thing is that I’ve done it myself quite a few times(I live literally among mountains) but the thing is: I know it was stupid and I'm not that proud of it, or try to advertise it as some macho cool thing because I don’t try to encourage other people to try it. And I only did it on back roads around 2 am or so and drove it at least once to make sure there is no traffic. Plus I don't do it to improve my skills, because improving your skills means trying new techniques which can prove fatal in the mountains and I have no clock to see it the new technique is actually improving my time. For skill improvement I have autoxing, here I can try new stuff safely plus I run against a clock that doesn't lie.
Oh and BTW it is called Nitrous because NOS is a brand.

FastNtheFurious? Me? LoL... okaaaaaay.....
NOS is a brand? Really? Well that's good 'cus I am getting the NOS system... I gather you took some time to check out my web-page?
Let me rephrase that comment I made nearly two months ago...
Maybe you should not race/drift in the mountains! It's not for everyone and it can prove dangerous... you're right! And I agree! Hey... I dont even drift anymore and I have never 'raced' on the mountains! I time attack (w/o a watch however... gotta get one) and I always do it at night! No cars around...
I retract my statement when I glorified the TOUGE and you probably should not race in it... but it's my thing and I think it makes you a better driver/racer! See I bet Solberg and all those pros indulged in a little illegal racing and I bet some of them even took to the canyons... sure they do not do it anymore (or do they?)... but why would you if you were pro?

1via, I would like you to explain me something
***driving/drifting in the mountains hones your skills!***
How is it honing your skills faster than a race track if you have to think about trafic and be shure that you will not ran off a cliff? Im not saying you shouldnt do it at all but at least have some consideration for these who do not wish to be part of these risks you are taking (traffic).
Im honing my skills in moutains roads and rurals roads too, because the hours/prices/track/age restrictions conditions are not interesting at all, but I ALWAYS know what im going to hit if I miss my turn, and if I cant be shure of it, there will ALWAYS be someone with a radio in front. But be shure of one thing! 1 hours on a race track is like 10 hours in the street, because you can take more risks to run out of luck without killing anyone wich mean you can try a lot more new stuff...

See the mountain/rural areas always have varible factors... there could be a tree limb in your lane in the next corner, a lil' bambi jumps out in front of you, ice could have built up on that shaded area, and worse case scenario: another car is coming your direction! On the (generic term) TOUGE you have to be aware of all your surroudings and be able to adapt immediately! (and once again I'm not saying go out and do this anymore) People that have a track-only training background most of the time do not look past the next corner (to answer Neutrino's question why they have accidents still)... there mentality is, "hey this is a controlled enviorment and I'll be okay." But in most cases people that have trained on the TOUGE are looking way beyond the next corner 'cus that is what they did when they illegally raced the mountains... it's just a theory and you can believe it or not! I'm not gonna argue anymore...

OH MY GOSH JUST STOP! 1via doesn't listen to anybody anyways, plus he has an automatic so theres really only one way to drive it, plus autos take no skill at all.
but acctually you can call it NOS instead of Nitrous because NOS was the abreviation of Nitrous before there ever was the brand NOS. so yes, it is NOS/Nitrous call it what you wish.

1viadrft, I think you should stop right now. If you have to take on people's cars to insult their skills, then this is really becoming F&F style. And btw, I would prefer to have a manual RX7 non turbo than an AT non TT 300ZX...
