Aoshima spring question

I have just started my first Aoshina kit and have been able to work out most of the instructions, apart for two things.
In the list of items on the back page, it shows 2 small springs and 1 larger spring.

1. The two small spings are used for the front struts, but I have only got one small spring in the packet, I presume the other is missing, if that is the case I think a retractable pen spring will do.

2.What is the larger spring for? It is not mentioned in the instructions and is not shaded like the other not used parts.

Sorry no pictures of the springs, the battery is flat on my camera, if needed I should be able to take some tomorrow.

What Aoshima kit are you building? Is it a VIP series kit? Some of their kits have that adjustable suspension which uses springs, but they usually come with 8 springs, 4 front/ 4 rear.

It is this kit here (http://hobbyworld.aoshima-bk.co.jp/scripts/hw/seeke.asp?seek_code=ABK130141)

This is the springs on the parts list sheet

This shows where the two small springs are used on the front suspension
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/roland99/spring2.jpg

This shows the only two springs in this kit, one small and one larger

Can anyone confirm that one of the small springs is missing and what is the larger spring for?

Thanks

That setup and instructions for that kit is almost exactly the same as the one for my Aoshima Celica LB 2000GT. There are supposed to be two small springs for the front suspension and the big one is for the rear suspension, looks like your missing one.

Cheers

oh, where did you get that kit?

some quick solution for you, you just go to the RC shop and then ask for some springs for 1/12 on road kit front suspension or for miniz.....even a spring from a pen might just need to be cut in half and will work.

good luck!
