I am trying to replace the fuel filters on a 2001 4 cylinder Camry and I can find the fuse/relay that I need to pull to disable the fuel pump, hence relieving fuel line pressure. Can anyone help??

If u are facing the engine the relay that u are looking for is called the " c/p" relay or circuit open relay. It is on the drivers side fender fuse box it is a small thin relay pull this to disable fuel. pop the gas cap to relieve fuel pressure also u will need a 17mm socket for the top bolt and the line is a 14mm. If the line is very tight then leave it alone!! because it will break! Toyota filters are limetime.

For the Gen4's, when it comes to fuel filter replacement, or anything dealing with the fuel system, in order to relieve the fuel system pressure, what you need to do is remove the bottom portion of the back seat and pry up the black service hole cover for the fuel pump, disconnect the electrical connector, and start the car and let it run until it dies. Attempt to start it a couple of more times afterwards just to make sure it won't start again, and voila! The fuel system pressure is released. I've replaced both the filter and the pump on my Gen 4...one of the easiest jobs I've done on the car.
