dash lights dim???

does anyone know if it is a fuse that went bad.... whenever I turn my headlights on at night, the dash dims REALLY bad.. it didnt used to do that.. so Im wondering if it is just a fuse or not.. I also have to get the dash fixed (its digital) and it likes to go off whenever it wants, but i already found a repair kit for that.. do you think that will help out>?

No, it's not a fuse. I would look at a problem in the dash dimmer switch or the cluster itself. For my own knowledge,what kit did you find and what is it supposed to fix?
