I came up to vist my mom today in Sonora and I swear...this town fu(kin sucks. This is definitely not what people think of when they think of California. What's the suckiest town you guys have been to? And I'm sure there's worse places in than Sonora...it's just that it's big enough to where it could be fun, but it's just not. I was eating lunch with my mom and then it kind of hit me that I was spending the night up here and I'm like WTF am I going to do :banghead:

I'd have to say this city in Missouri I visted some relatives in the summer before this last. Yes, there really ARE cities around like the one in Simple Life. Imagine farms as far as the eye can see (Amish country is there too) and the closest civilization as far as a city is 2 miles away, and the nearest urban life is a good half hour to 45 minute drive away. I was there a week, and like the 2nd full day of being there I wanted to go back home. :(

Ahh, hmm. Well I work from 1-4pm at one of my jobs, not sure if I'm working that night or not. I hope I have my car back by then. :bloated:
Ahh, ok boring CA cities. :p Well let's see... Fontucky, err I mean Fontana is pretty boring other than Cali. Speedway being there. I've been to Felton and that city seemed kinda boting... OH I got it! Fresno is seriously the most boring city in CA that I've been to. I've stayed at the Piccadilly (sp?) Inn right across from CSF, and besides that hotel, the 7-11 next to it, CSF and a Carrows and Red Lobster on the same block, there was like nothing there that I noticed. Not even any fixed up rides. What a shame. This was also like 2 years ago, LOL! :loser: Viselia is kinda boring too. Just farms and fields out there.

Sonora would be nothing but hick ass white wash if I were visit there, haha, nah I'm j/k. Don't tell me Sonora is nothing but raised trucks, and you're the only import rider there, Mike... :uhoh:
Even Pasadena is starting to get over run with lifted trucks. WTF, we aren't Huntington Beach, for fscks sake! :screwy:

naw...well I don't go to Sonora often, but it does have it's share of raised trucks but it's got some imports too. I'm pretty sure you didn't take it the wrong way, but just in case, I wasn't being racist by my comment. Hell I'm white even though I look hispanic sometimes...just sometimes lol...anyway, it's just that the town is 99 percentile white people and after you've gotten out and seen some other places with more diversity, then you go back and you're like WTF...it's snowing in the middle of winter :grinno:

nothing wrong with monterey, except the average age is 66, i live in santa cruz and there is plenty to do here, so come on up the freeway man!
by the way i think turlock or keyes or merced or denair or any of those "irrigated deserts"

I HATE san francisco. Other than clubs and chinatown they aint got shit. The traffic is terrible, you have to pay money to go over a bridge to get to the damn thing.
I dont know why anyone would want to live there and suprisngly they have these expensive ass houses. People who live there have no concept of reality or of the outside world outside of their town.

Hmmm, there's so many terrible towns....
um, I'm in Sonora right now for my Spring Break and except for seeing Frostbyte, it is hot & boring here.
Merced is probably hotter and even worse...
My mom once wanted to move to Susanville...it's a dud
I went to CSU Stanislaus for a semester in Turlock; it does smell
and Snelling is actually considered a town?; it's sooo small
Don't have any favorite cities in Nor Cal yet lol

The most boring city I would have to say was Great Falls, Montana... stationed there for 4 years..... but the weirdest town is one without a name... it was about 5 miles outside of Site Lima, where I was always posted. you never saw anybody out around the town. there were cars there, things would be different, but you never saw a single person... and the church was bright white, black windows, with a bright red door.... weird

Never heard of Cabazon? Is that NoCal or SoCal?
Sniper, you said Great Falls was boring...I think I've been there before, to the National Park...I could see how it could be pretty dull, unless you love the outdoors. I don't remember much of it except that it was really pretty.

I went from 18 years in Cincinnati, Ohio, to 7 months in San Antonio to 4 years in Great Falls... It was one hell of a shock to a big city boy, and I am in no way an outdoors person.

Agreed, Burner, but I still think the town I live in takes the prize: Ukiah, CA. It's about 3 hours north of SF and 1 1/2 north of Santa Rosa. Small, quiet town, with absolutely nothing to do. A surprisingly big per-capita car scene, but still nothing even close to what the citys get.
