Hey, I heard a while back that people clean their headlights and get rid of that orange color by using some kind of aluminum polish. Is there a certain kind that works the best? I'm going to be re-sealing my headlights at the same time, shold I clean the insides of the lights the same way? Thanks for the help

There as some kind of liquid sold in Japan that I read about a long time ago... you would poor it into your headlight housing and let it soak into the amber lense... eventually it would eat up the orange and turn the lense clear. I dont know if that would work an usdm headlights.. maybe it was just for the jdm headlights... but is that what you're talking about?

Clean the inside of your housing with windex or alchohal... its just a chrome/mirror paint. Anything too abrassive will eat up the chrome and turn it dull gray.

I don't know why, but the link didn't work for me. I wasn't thinking abotu anything that uncommon, I believe it was Mother's or Meguairs aluminum polish or something like that.

basically the ingredients you need are acetone (nail polish remover), metal cleaner, and automotive scratch/swirl remover. use those ingredients in that order.

A while ago I heard that to get the yellow color off their headlights people were using some kind of Aluminum polish. I believe it was Meguiars or Mothers but I can't remember. It sounds like though that any aluminum polish will do, so I'll just try that. Thanks for the help.

Are you talking about getting your lights that white/bluish tint like you see on the new Mercedes' etc..?

You could buy bulbs at like Pep Boys or AutoZone for that...

You'll still have that yellowish tint though unless you get clear lenses...but getting those bulbs will brighten them up a little...

I have used "Never Dull" on integra headlights before and it worked great, but if your lights are plastic then i would recommend something else not too sure about using it with plastic. Hope that helps some.
