gsx vs. srt-4

yeah i was thinking of getting a new car it is either gonna be a srt-4 or a 99 gsx i heard the gsx can hold up to 500 whp on stock internals but i dont know much about the srt-4. what would be the best way to go.

the srt4 has a very strong engine. Its rumored to be able to hold over 900hp on stock internals(not for very long of course)

the gsx is again a very good platform however be aware that the 4g63 in them is not as strong as the one in the evos or the 1st gen DSM's

I think you should get the 99 GSX. Not because I dont like the SRT-4. I love my SRT-4 and believe it is a far suppier machine than GSX. I think you should get the gsx because one if you are considering gsx then you want AWD which srt-4 does not have. It also seems like you want this 500hp number. 500 hp in either car would be damn near unreal to be streetable. If you want to go as fast as possible 500 hp will be close to max with GSX while SRT-4 will go well beyond into the 800-900 range. Last is at 500hp the internals might be allright but you'll be breaking everything else in the GSX.
