Ok im very confused :screwy:
My friend told me that another guy told him that with catback exhaust systems you cant pass the emissions(or the smog thing whatever)in California.
Now this doesnt make any sense to me.IF you arent removing the cat how would it make any differnce?
Did my friend obtain wrong info or am i crazy? :screwy: :screwy:

That is true - if the exhaust is not CARB approved then no passing test. There are certain sound dB's that an exhaust must pass in order to be CARB approved.
CARB - California Air Research Board - bastards!

It's not just california, pretty soon we will be driving cars that make hardly any noise & drip H20 from the tailpipe. :disappoin
I don't which parts are CARB/50 state legal - check their websites for that information.
Yes there are CARB approved/ 50 state legal header's
Intakes are another thing, basically anything that changes your air/fuel and some electronics.
CARB approved parts will come with a sticker or certification tag, I read a post about someone's intake approval being out of date and could not pass inspection. How shitty is that?
