hey everyone. my cel light has been coming on here latley,but the truck is still running fine.driving around town it doesnt come on at all. if you run it at about 65mph for 9 or 10 miles it will. what gets me i can let off the gas for a few seconds and its off,but when i get back on the gas
its on again. (1994 3.2v6 auto 92,000 miles)

It could be an oxygen sensor. You will get a CEL light every 90Kmi to "remind" you to change the oxygen sensor. Reading your OBD code(s) is the first step you need to do. It's a matter of jumping two pins on the diagnostic plug (behind the drivers side kick panel) and counting the CEL flashes. Dunno the full procedure off hand. i took my 2001 rodeo down to autozone and they diagnosed my check engine light free of charge. it was a misfired cylinder. i've seen this twice so far, each time after i used shell gas. not sure if this is why but it goes away after i use BP gas. each time i was on the highway shortly before the light came on. i'm told that it resets itself after so many engine starts with no problems.

does this rodeo use same diagnostic tool as the older gm cars and trucks.
