Btsi Problem???????

Hi I Own A 2003 Trailblazer Lt Ext And Just This Week I Started Having Problems With My Vehicle. Everything Inside The Vehicle Functions Properly Except The Fact That I Can Not Drive My Vehicle At Night. When I Try To Drive It I Crank It Put My Foot On The Brake Pedal And Try To Push The Shifter Release Button But It Wont Release And Wont Come Out Of Park. I Have Taken The Vehicle Back To The Dealership Where I Bought It And They Cant Figure Out Whats Wrong With It Either. They Have Had The Vehicle Now For Three Days. This Is A 34,000.00 Vehicle With Only 5,000 Miles On It And Anyone Tell Me How To Fix It Or What Caused It???? The Mechanics Dont Know And They Say That They Have Hooked It Up To The Computer And The Computer Says Everything Is Fine With The Vehicle.

i had a 03 with the same problem a few weeks ago, the release button is on the passenger side, you can remove the shift boot and reach it with a long finger, once i pressed it the problem went away, i ended up replacing the shift control which is how the btsi comes, haven't had the vehicle return so i guess it fixed the problem.

they replaced the btsi control switch and it shifted fine for about 5 times but then it locked up again. i dont think they know what it is that they are doing...

did they replace the switch that activates the solenoid or did they replace the solenoid, i replaced the solenoid which is part of the shifter assembly
