I have a 2003 Cavalier and I was wondering if I can remove the current stock e-brake handle and replace it with a new one that you can buy from stores. I know they sell new e-brake handles so I figured that you can remove them but I want to know for sure. Also I want to know if once I remove the stock handle if I can put it back on or is it ruined? That you for any responses they are very much appreciated.

Yes, you can remove the stock e-brake handle...just pull really hard...lol...no i'm just kiddin'...your manual should say...if it doesn't, ask the dealer...I have an '02 Cavalier but i'm not going to mess with it as i'm getting ready to sell it, otherwise i'd figure it out for you...

lol...i have a 02 cavalier as well...couple months ago i asked the same question...got tired of no response and ripped the darn thing out....was hard though, used a saw to cut it off. and its angled a bit so you will have to grind the new ebrake alittle to. but i love my new one...hehe. hope it helps for more info you can pm me if you like.
