Help me I have a clunking sound comeing from the left side of my trunk on turns starts and stops. Yes the trunk is empty and it still happens. Sounds like something rolling into the side but nothing is there. Could it be a strut or something like that. I am used to finding wierd sounds on my big 4X4 but the problem with a Honda is a new one. Any ideas would be helpfull

Please don't let that be it. Surely he would think to look in the spare tire well

I'm not trying to make fun of the guy or anything, you just never know. lets say there is a special socket that is rolling around under the spare tire or something... won't know until you check.
if you have already looked into that then I'm sorry I don't have any other suggestions for you.

THANKS, when I put the trunk was EMPTY I ment "empty!!!" Just thought that if someone else had had this problem it could save me some time looking for whatever is loose.

ok, just wasnt sure on that... how big of a clunk are we talking about here? mine had a little sound like something was moving around from the trunk in turns and stuff as well and it turned out one of the bulbs for the license plate light had come out of its socket and was moving around in the trunk lid. this was not a loud sound at all though, you could only hear it when the radio was off and you were actually listening
