my friend has a 95 civic dx with a factory keyless entry, his engine died from various reasons lol so i gave him one of my old sohc's and we swapped it. now it wont start, it gets no spark and i know its not the distributor and we reaplaced cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. i have been told from a few people it has to do with the security system and unpluging the harness. if anyone can help reset it or unarm it, it would be greatly appriciated, thanks. (note:there is no alarm system just keyless entry system)

was it the same engine (same engine model)? if it was from a different year i.e. it was a 96 engine, 96 had OBDII, 95 had OBDI.
otherwise, make sure the engine was grounded to the chassis well enough- the chassis is common for nearly everything electrical on the car, and the engine is common for the starter and alternator, so you need a good solid ground between them... somewhere.
other then that... :dunno:
