im a noob, and im just getting into autox. i dont have much money, so i have just suspension upgrades right now. i want to get a muffler that does not sound/look as bad as stock. i like borla mufflers, but they are too expensive for what im looking for. my friend has a rallyart, and the muffler sounds good, but is not big or ricey. if anyone has any suggestions for good but cheap mufflers, preferably bolt-on, that would be great. thanks

I love the sound of the HKS hi-power/flow exhaust system!

but it'll run you about $500-$600 or whole system.
they have videos on the HKS site.

i dont really think its worth it to just get a muffler... save up for a full exhaust system. A good catback will run you atleast 500 bucks... just save up.

whoa! no need for the hostility(sp?) you asked for good mufflers/EXHAUST!!

i gave you my opinion on what i think is a good EXHAUST!

and OBVIOUSLY i READ your post or else i wouldnt reply...i'm a noob to..i dont claim to be an expert..just thought i'd try to help out..i've herd the HKS exhaust before..and thought it sounded really nice..and not like a lawnmower or a rubber band.

I personally love the sound of the GReddy Evo exhausts. I've heard them on 3 different Civics(One of them mine) and they all sounded great. Good overall sound quality with a nice deep tone instead of the "pissed off bumble bee sound"

BUT it is a cat-back system that will run you a $475+ price tag. But my advice would be to save up and buy a complete exahust instead of just a muffler. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
