Does anyone know what this code is? I looked it up and it means
"PCM A/D Conversion Malfunction." What is this and how do I fix it? Please help....

It could just mean that your code reader does not function with the ECM. Can read the codes!

Denno- I'm guessing that code means "analog to digital conversion". I've never seen that one come up! do you have any other symptoms? How old is your battery? I know our zu's are super sensitive to proper charging system output (needs a steady 14v with truck running). The only other things I can think of is check all the ground connections. G/luck! keep us posted.

I had the PCM replaced--tied to another problem...but still have the code. I think it is tied to the fuel sending unit. When my CEL come on after my fuel gage acts all wierd, I get the P1627 code. When the CEL goes off and I clear my code, I don't see it again until the fuel gage acts up again.....

if p1627 is set there should be another DTC for Dennosmith it will be (P0463 fuel level sensor high input) you need a fuel sending unit. Not all code readers do a very good job of code reading take it to your dealer parts are $45 and labor should be 2.5 hrs or do it yourself its not hard

I have a 2001 rodeo sport with the following codes. P1627, P0463. The fuel guage acts all wierd and goes to empty when it's nearly full and I get a fuel low light along side with it. I plan to change the fuel tank sending unit. If it clears the P1627 code I'll follow up and post something here.

Other codes I have that I think are unrelated are P0402 EGR, and P0128 coolant thermostat.
