What do you guys think about the production of the Lotus M250? It is coming to the states and it I believe it will be a hit. Lotus has come a LOOONG way since all the drama just a few years back. Now they are more popular than ever and it was all because of the Elise. I truly think Lotus will become a MUCH more familiar name in the world and will finally get the respect it so deserves. I mean, lets face it, it has been around as long as Porsche and Ferrari just about. (1948). Anyway, here is a nice pic of the M250.

looks too good to be true!!! :)
Can't wait.
But acceleration of 5 sec is kinda slow for Lotus....
How much is it goin to cost? Anybody know?

It's not that slow. It's only a few tenths of a second slower than the Esprit V8, and I bet it'll cost significantly less. I think it will be a good compromise between the Esprit and the Elise. Styling seems to be somewhere in the middle, and with a V6 it'll probably have a mix of high end and acceleration.

0-60 is 4.9. It is not supposed to be quick, it is supposed to be between the Esprit and the Elise. It will be quite expensive I think at around $55,000

Should be fine with an Alfa 3.0.

Proton is basing their new mid engined supercar called the ULTIMATE on the Lotus M250. It will have similar styling, but with a proton wira nose and more smooth styling. Lotus will engineer the car, so it should be just as quick. This might finally add non Japanese asian countries to the list of supercars!

The M250 was designed to fight in the midst of the small coupe market, such as Boxsters and S2Ks...
