If anyone could help with the vacuum hose routing for the 305 v8 I would really appreciate it. The carburator has a few hoses that are plugged. Any pictures or diagrams would be appreciated. I must fix car to pass emissions

this wont be an easy thing to find, i dont even think that vacuum diagrams are in the factory service manuals, is your vacuum diagram stilll stuck to the rad shroud or on air cleaner housing ? there are about three temp vacuum switchs(TVS) and a couple are usually in the intake and one in thermostat housing there are a good number of hoses connecting to these and usually one is for EFE diapragm, and one for vacuum advance if so equipped and others for smog pumpand charcoal canister and PVC system and thermistor on air cleaner assembly and MAP sensor if so equipped.

i still have my vacuum sticker on my 83 305 maybe some of that might help you.

 You are in luck. I found vacuum routing diagrams for most Caprice designs on Chilton's website. See http://www.cybrrpartspro.com/cgi-win/cal_LookupResults.exe

Can you send me the picture?
This link does not work. It assumes I am a Chilton online subscriber?

I too have a problem with the a/c vacuum hoses for the 305 caprice.
Thanks
Ken

Probably not, since the newest post before yours is almost 3 years old. It might well be the case that the original poster has moved on to bigger and better things.

Kenneth,

Welcome Aboard!

What silicon212 was alluding to is the policy at AF to avoid opening threads older than 6 months (unless you happen to be the original poster with a relevant update). You are certainly encouraged to search the forum archives to find answers, as you obviously did.

As for your question, if you have the 305/E4ME/Auto, this should get you close:
