I am looking for dyno results of anyone running an rb25det, if the engine/tubo is not stock, please list you modifcations

Um Yes There Is A Rb23. There Is A Rb20,21, 22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32, And 33. The Rb20, Rb25,rb26 And Rb30 Are Nissan Built And The Others Are Custom Jobs.

I have heard of 20, 25, 26, and 30. The only custom job is some of the RB30's. Where they take the DOHC head from the GTR motor and put it on the RB30E block from Australia to give it more strength and displacement on the bottom end.

i don't know if custom boring or stroking or both warrants a change in engine code, but i understand your point.
i think an rb26 bored out to 2.8 liters would just be a 2.8L RB26

But That Goes Against Engine Designation Procedures. Technically You Can't Call It That Because Nissan Designates The Name But If You Follow Suit It Is Correct.

The single turbo RB's are just as popular in Japan as the twin turbos. I live in Japan and every once in a while I look through some Japanese magazine that's devoted to the single turbo Skyline and the magazine is filled with 1000hp+ R32's, 33's, and 34's. They're almost all drift cars because they're RWD.

no it would be a rb26 with a stroker kit LOL. It wouldn't be a RB28dett from nissan.....
If someone came on here and said hey man my sr22 is badass, people would look at em odd, like he has no idea what he is talking about .... lol. On the other hand if someone said they have a sr20det with a 2.2L stroker kit from such and such, it makes sense.
Same thing with Domestics, say the popular well known 383, you might say u have a 383 but that is how much ci's you are running, its not really what ENGINE you have. When asked about that they would say its a 350 stroked out to 383 or a 383 stroker.
I don't think they made a Dual Cam rb30 ever. I know they made a RB30E and a RB30ET. They were made for australian cars. People throw on the RB20's series heads with the DOHC design and its effectively like raising your displacement with a factory engine and block, thats pretty damn cool if you ask me. Its not like throwing another crank in a different block. A lot of Rb26's and Rb25's have done this. This would be a cheap ass engine for the power it could make with a RB20 head on a RB30 block lol. You would have an engine superior to a stock GTR engine for a lot cheaper.
