The door handle on my Chevrolet Blazer S10 1991 broke off (out side drivers handle). It's still on the door but it's completely loose, it's possible to open the door but it takes a lot of effort. Anyways I saw there are some for sale on the internet for like 8$. If I was to order one would it be hard to install? Would I have to take the whole door apart from inside or is it an easy install?
Thank you.

ok...first off i wouldn't bother with the internet for a door handle, i would either goto the wreckers or a parts store for one, they are not very expensive....either way here is what you need to do (power doors or not) take out the two screws in the inside door handle (#2 Phillips) then remove the window crank (for non-power) with a special tool (cheap tool) now the rest of the door panel is held on with plastic clips, you can either just pull the panel off (risking breaking a couple, but not expensive) or you can use a prybar sometimes. once you get the panel loose you have to lift it straight up to unhook it from the window channel. Now if you do have power windows or locks you will have to unhook to conections once the panel is loose in order to get it off. *phew* ok so now the panel is off, there are usually two holes in the door big enough to get a socket through for a straight shot at the back of the handle (it's a 12 or 11 mm socket you need) if you look in there you will see the nuts on the back of the handle, take these off (there are two of them) now there is a bar attached to it with a plastic clip....this is kinda hard to explain but it's simple to do....the clip is snapped onto the bar, unsnap it and it will swivel out of the way, and you will notice the bar end pulls out of the handle...now the handle should be either in your hand or on the ground, but either way it's off. When you re-install the handle just the opposite way of removal, you'll see the holes in the door (for the bolts on the handle) are slotted, this is to allow for adjustment, make sure it's centered and snug the nuts down....now before you tighten them stcik to bar back in and try the handle, if it's not hitting the dorr anywhere then you are safe to tighten everything down. The only other thing is when your re-installing the door panel, some of the clips may be in the door still, you need to remove these and install them onto the panel itself. Almost done!! fit the panel onto the window channel, push down while holding the panel away from the door slightly, when it's down you can let go of the panel and align the clips with the holes on the door, just push them in and it should grab. now attach the screws and window crank and your all done...........this is really easier then it sounds, i just go into WAY to much detail sometimes. anyways i hope that helped.

for a2b2003 if your handle just seems like it is loose and not broken you can put a little locktite on the nuts before you put them on I had the same problem due to the cheap nuts used by gm. either locktite or teflon or other tape will work

Fox_Rocks is right on the money. Once you do it the first time it gets easier the next time. I can't seem to get the metal rod right and it keeps disengaging when I lock the door. If I do not lock it I am good to go. You can buy the handle at Discount Auto Parts for $25. $8 on the net sounds pretty good...
