IAC (Idle Air Control) is going bad?

My computer generated a number 35 code with the flashing "Check Engine Soon". This indicated a bad Idle Air Control circuit, valve, and/or sensor. The only thing that happened, which started this, is I idled low once and my engine stalled. It took 2-3 times cranking to start it, but once it started again, it ran fine. I only worry because the "Check Engine Soon" light stays on, and the same code remains #35. Should I ignore this? Should I replace the sensor and/or valve? Should I clean the sensor and/or valve? Looking for anybody that has had this problem and resolved it.

Code 35 is for an Idle speed error.... if the ECM sees that the idle speed is 150 rpm higher or lower than commanded, the SES light will come on.
Check for vacum leaks and for the correct pcv valve (wrong pcv could cause idle problems)
The IAC valve could be sticking.

Thanks. I replaced the IAC Valve, disconnected from my battery terminal in hopes to reset computer, and everything is looking GREAT!!
At 115,000 miles and going strong again! The old IAC Valve looked HORRIBLE!

Hi you all, I'm new to this site. My sister has a '95 S-10 Blazer and seems to have a similar stall problem and 2-3 times cranking to start it but no CE light. Question is which one is the IAC valve?. I don't have Haynes or Owners manual, does anyone has a picture showing the IAC?. Thanks.
