i have an 88 crx si 1.6 (if you couldn't tell) i have a zc motor, ram air intake, full exhaust, its droped, header, short shifter, momo steering wheel, adj shocks, strut bar, clear tail lights....its not the fastest car...i only went 15.9 at the track.....but hopefully soon, i'll be going faster, i think im going to get nitrous...as of right now, my car is primered because the paint was faiding (Sp?)....it needs body work (rust in the wheel wells) but that is normal on a crx....even though it might not be the fastest car....i rarely lose a race due to my driving....when ever i hang out with different guys....they are always like "you drive great for a girl"...i may drive great for a girl...but i can out drive almost anyone....
heres a new question...what do u girls think about those "girly girls" who have hondas/acuras that are automatic with exhaust and tail lights? they get on my nerves....no offense to anyone...but anyone can have exhaust and tail lights....they think there all fast due to that fact....u rarely ever see a girl that can drive a stick good.....it sucks that more girls arnt into the racing scene..but its kinda cool knowing around my area, that im pretty much the only girl thats into it.....there isnt any female that can drive better then i can around my neck of the woods.....
what kinda work do you girls have done to your car??
if any of you have an automatic w/exhaust and tail lights, dont take any offense to what i said....i mean its cool that u girls want to be apart of the racing world....more power to you!!!! i'll talk to you later!!!!

Well, I'm not a girl but hey I like to see what you girls think. Not that I'll ever understand but hey I try.
Here's a pic of my ride. Note: That shiny thing in the grill doesn't do much but cool some stuff down. You can see the rest of the car at

It's big enough to satisfy a GT28 turbo at 18-20psi easy. Just running 7psi right now though.
I can tell you it definitely cools the air down alot. After a run, I open the hood and rev it. When the BOV opens up it's blowing out cold air. I was really suprised how much it cools the air since the turbo sucks in air from under the hood plus the turbo is hot itself. I've read with this setup that if it's 80 outside you'll get an 80 degree reading from the intake temp on the manifold.
If you wanna learn more about turbo's and such take a look at http://www.turbod16.com There's alot of good information on turbo setups for our 1.6 motors in there.

I'm a guy in the low 30's but rather be a guy in the low 12's at the track.
If you need any tips on the bottle let me know. I've used a NOS wet setup in a 89 Berreta GTU, 91 Daytona and a ZEX dry kit in both my 96 and 98 civics.

Personally, I like the dry setup for less than 100 hp. Anything over 100 shot I would definitely get a wet setup.
Dry is the easiest to install also. It uses your existing fuel pressure regulator to add more fuel into the motor.
This keeps you from going lean (not enough gas to the amount of air) when this happens detonation will kill your motor fast. Hehe, I personally tested this phenomena out on my 96 civic. Guess it was worth the 9 hours installing another motor:) Man that sucker would fly. The old saying "The fastest a car will ever go is right before it blows up." is really true.
The wet setup. A seperate line is ran off the fuel rail to a mixing nozzle then the mix of gas/n2o is shot into the intake. Never had any problems with mine in the 4 years I used it.
